The three-story building of the water mill in Pavoloch is located near the dam on the Rostavytsia River. The mill was built in the 19th century, when a large Jewish community lived in the village.

The water mill in Strokiv was probably built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when the village was owned by landowner Andriy Bubnov.
At that time, the village grew rapidly, overgrown with industrial facilities, such as a distillery and starch factories, a forge and, in fact, the mill itself, which was managed by industrialist Odinskyi.

The water mill in Ruzhyn is located on a dam across the Rostavytsya River between the center of the village and the center of the neighboring village of Zarichchya.
The mill building was built in 1926 as a power station. Later, in 1929, it was expanded as a water mill.
Until recently, the mill was in working condition, although it no longer worked on water power, but on electricity.

The water mill was built in Derhanivka in 1906 by two German entrepreneurs. The building in the Art Nouveau style is made of white bricks brought here from Germany.

A brick water mill on the Unava River in the village of Kvitneve, 5 kilometers from Popilnia, was built in 1905 on the site of an old wooden one.
In 2017, the mill building was restored. Currently, it houses a modern recreation and restaurant complex "Restaurant Park "Mlyn".

The water mill on the Unava River in the village of Kvitneve in Zhytomyr region was built in 1905. There is no reliable information about its first owner. According to various sources, it could be Prince Horchakov or the family of Countess Kudasheva. In Soviet times, the mill was converted into a hydroelectric power station. The building stood empty for a long time.
In 2017, the old mill got a new life thanks to the local agrarian entrepreneur and philanthropist Volodymyr Didkivskyi, who turned the building into a restaurant. From the outside, the building has retained its authentic appearance, and inside there is a banquet hall. There is a landscape park on the territory.
A water tower in the form of a defensive tower of a medieval castle is located next to the "Chornorudka" railway station.
The tower was probably built by the sugar factory Artemiy Tereshchenko, who in the second half of the 19th century owned the lands of Chornorudka, as well as the sugar factory.
Today, the water tower is an architectural monument of local importance.

Yemilchyne People's District Museum of Local Lore was founded in 1973 on the initiative of local historians. It is located in the former premises of the House of Children's Creativity next to the central park.
The exposition tells about the nature of Polissya, the history of the region from the earliest times, ethnography and the life of the Polishchuks. In particular, the stone tools of primitive people, clay products of ancient archaeological cultures, iron items from the times of Ancient Rus, objects of peasant life of the 19th century, materials about the events of the Ukrainian revolution, the Holodomor, the Second World War, post-war reconstruction, the Russian-Ukrainian war are presented.
Among the unique exhibits are original certificates and acts of ownership of land plots and other archival documents from the second half of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. In 2015, a museum room dedicated to the work of People's Artist of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine Nina Matviyenko, who was born in 1968 in the village of Nedilishche near Yemilchyne, was opened.
A branch of the Yemilchyne People's District Museum of Local Lore is the Museum of Military Fortification "Pillbox (DOT) - Artillery Half-Capon", which tells about the history of the Yemilchyne Battalion Defense District of the Korosten Fortified District.

The Central Yevropeyska (European) Square of Berdychiv in front of the Berdychiv City Council building was opened in 1977 after the completion of the building that housed the city CPSU and the City Executive Committee in Soviet times. Initially, the square was called Zhovtneva.
Recently, the architecturally boring square has been enlivened by original city sculptures: a monument to Berdychiv beer, a monument to a Berdychiv costume, a Berdychiv globe of the world, etc.

The Zhytomyr Regional Literary Museum is located in an ancient two-story building in the Art Nouveau style, built at the beginning of the 20th century.
The exhibition consists of four sections: French writer Honore de Balzac, Zhytomyr theater artist Ivan Shevchenko, poet-translator Borys Ten and the family of composer Mykhaylo Skorulskyi.

Palace / manor
The manor in Ruzhyn was built in the 19th century by the landowner Chelishchev. In 1856, it was bought from the hammer by landowner Antoniy Zlotnytskyi.
The palace was characterized by contemporaries as magnificent, but now its appearance is greatly spoiled by later reconstructions.
On the territory of the Zlotnytsky manor is the board of the Ruzhyn agricultural cooperative.
According to legend, the manor house is connected to the church by an underground passage.
