Пам'ятник поетові Тарасові Шевченку у Василькові встановлено в 1993 році на одній із центральних площ міста.
Монумент вирізняється "людяністю" - український геній зображений не суворим старим з осудливим поглядом, як завжди, а молодим і натхненним поетом, який присів відпочити з книжкою в руках.
