A new festival-fair will be organized in the center of the Transcarpathian city, designed to support local wine producers and revive the winter tourist season.

From January 9 to 11, 2026, the "Wine Fest over the Latorytsia" will be held in the city of Mukachevo in Transcarpathia. The venue will be the "Venezia" shopping complex on the banks of the Latorytsia River, near the automobile bridge on Mostova Street, 2, the organizers reported on their official Facebook page.

"Our event has three basic goals - to support small producers, add a little life to an old building and raise funds for drones," the message says.

Transcarpathian private winemakers and wineries will participate in the festival, including Muska Wine, Sass K. Winery, Erika Winery, Bereczky, Kovach Winery, Sasha Rud and Chateau Chizay. The cheese factory "Mamyn Syr", the farm "Rostoka", the craft products store "Shpaiz" and others will also present their products. A food court will be open, offering fried meat and various dishes of Transcarpathian cuisine.

The symbolic opening of the festival is scheduled for Friday, January 9, at 4:00 PM. For three days, the festival site will be open until 10:00 PM. Regular tickets cost 200 hryvnias for one day or 400 hryvnias for three days (for pensioners - 50 hryvnias per day or 100 hryvnias for three days). Additionally, you can purchase a branded tasting glass with the festival logo for 150 hryvnias. Part of the funds raised will be directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Wine Fest over Latoritsa" can be considered an alternative to the popular "Chervene Vyno" festival, which in recent years, due to martial law in the country, has been held only in the format of a closed competition of Transcarpathian wines. In particular, this year it will take place on January 10.

З 9 по 11 січня 2026 року в місті Мукачево на Закарпатті відбудеться "Винний фест над Латорицею". Місцем його проведення стане торговий комплекс "Венеція" на березі річки Латориця, біля автомобільного мосту по вулиці Мостовій, 2, повідомляють організатори на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"У нашого заходу є три базові цілі – підтримати малих виробників, додати трохи життя старій будівлі і зібрати кошти на дрони", – йдеться у повідомленні.

У фестивалі візьмуть участь закарпатські приватні винороби та виноробні підприємства, серед яких Muska Wine, Sass K. Winery, Erika Winery, Bereczky, Kovach Winery, Саша Рудь та Chateau Chizay. Свою продукцію також представлять сироварня "Мамин сир", фермерське господарство "Ростока", магазин крафтових продуктів "Шпайз" та інші. Працюватиме фудкорт, де пропонуватимуть смажене м'ясо та різноманітні страви закарпатської кухні.

Символічне відкриття фестивалю заплановане на п'ятницю, 9 січня, 16:00. Протягом трьох днів фестивальний майданчик буде відкритий до 22:00. Звичайні квитки коштують 200 гривень на один день або 400 гривень на три дні (для пенсіонерів – 50 гривень на день або 100 гривень на три дні). Додатково можна придбати фірмовий дегустаційний келих із логотипом фестивалю за 150 гривень. Частина зібраних коштів буде спрямована на підтримку ЗСУ.

"Винний фест над Латорицею" можна вважати альтернативою популярному фестивалю "Червене вино", який останніми роками через воєнний стан в країні проводиться лише у форматі закритого конкурсу закарпатських вин. Зокрема цього року він відбудеться 10 січня.
