Due to severe frosts in the Carpathian region, the water of a mountain stream froze in the form of clusters of shiny icicles hanging from a height of about 20 meters.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, one of the largest and most picturesque waterfalls in Ukraine, Maniava Waterfall, froze. This is reported by social media users who publish impressive photos and videos.

"Maniava Waterfall is covered with ice. Hurry up to see this beauty with your own eyes," urges the Instagram user with the nickname roma.manyava.

This famous waterfall is located on the southwestern outskirts of the village of Maniava in the foothills of the Carpathians. The height of the water fall is about 20 meters, so it is one of the highest waterfalls in Ukraine.

In the region, the air temperature has dropped below 15 degrees below zero in recent nights. Thanks to this, the water in the mountain stream, flowing down the rocks into the gorge, turned into clusters of white icicles.

You can get to the waterfall on foot from the village center in about an hour and a half along the trail along the Manyavka River. Traveling by car is difficult, especially in winter and in wet weather.

The village of Maniava is also known as an important spiritual center of the Carpathians - the 17th-century Maniava Monastery is located here

В Івано-Франківській області замерз один з найбільших та наймальовничіших водоспадів України – Манявський. Про це повідомляють користувачі соцмереж, публікуючі вражаючі світлини та відео.

Цей відомий водоспад розташований на південно-західній околиці села Манява в передгір'ях Карпат. Висота падіння води становить близько 20 метрів, тож це один із найвищих водоспадів в Україні.

У регіоні впродовж останніх ночей температура повітря опускалася нижче 15 градусів морозу. Завдяки цьому вода в гірському потоці, що стікає камінням в ущелину, перетворилася на грона білих бурульок.

Дістатися водоспаду пішки з центру села можна приблизно за півтори години стежкою вздовж річки Манявки. Проїзд автівкою ускладнений, особливо взимку та в сиру погоду.
