In the tourist complex "Horianyn", visitors are invited to familiarize themselves with interactive exhibits, learn the stories of legendary athletes, see rare artifacts and get emotions for the whole family.

The only museum of ski and alpine skiing in Ukraine has opened in Pylypets, Transcarpathia, on the territory of the hotel complex "Horianyn", next to the lower station of the chairlift. The hotel administration reported this on its official Facebook page.

"We invite you to visit the unique ski museum - a place where the history of winter sports comes to life. Take a journey through the centuries: from the first wooden skis to modern sports achievements," the administration urges.

The museum exhibits include skis from different times and countries, as well as old photographs and rare artifacts that tell about the formation and development of alpine skiing in Transcarpathia. The hotel owner, Volodymyr Petrishche, has been collecting them for over 15 years. He also conducts excursions for the first visitors.

"The Hungarians used such skis when they arrived in 1939. It was an officer's ski - it had a stiffening rib. And this is an ordinary soldier's ski," the collector says about his oldest rarities.

Among the exhibits are also later samples of ski equipment, which were manufactured in Soviet times by the Lviv factory "Dynamo" and the famous Mukachevo factory "Tysa". In particular, you can see the first samples of canted skis with a plastic coating.

And for active recreation, everyone can rent modern and comfortable ski equipment at the rental point on the territory of the hotel complex.

Єдиний в Україні музей лиж і гірськолижного спорту відкрився у закарпатському Пилипці на території готельного комплексу "Горянин", поруч із нижньою станцією крісельного підйомника. Про це повідомляє адміністрація готелю на офіційній сторінці у Facebook.

"Запрошуємо відвідати унікальний музей лиж – місце, де оживає історія зимових видів спорту. Здійсніть подорож крізь століття: від перших дерев’яних лиж до сучасних спортивних досягнень", – закликають в адміністрації.

Експонатами музею є лижі різних часів і країн, а також старовинні світлини та рідкісні артефакти, що розповідають про становлення і розвиток гірськолижного спорту на Закарпатті. Їх вже понад 15 років колекціонує власник готелю Володимир Петрище. Він же проводить екскурсії для перших відвідувачів.

"Такими лижами мадяри користувалися, коли у 1939 році прийшли. Це була лижа офіцерська – мала ребро жорсткості. А це звичайна солдатська", – розповідає колекціонер про свої найдавніші раритети.

Є серед експонатів і пізніші зразки гірськолижної амуніції, яку ще за радянських часів виготовляли львівська фабрика "Динамо" та відома мукачівська фабрика "Тиса". Зокрема можна побачити перші зразки кантованих лиж із пластиковим покриттям.

А для активного відпочинку усі бажаючи можуть взяти напрокат сучасне та комфортабельне гірськолижне спорядження в пункті прокату на території готельного комплексу.
